The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nord throws a lazy body kick
and Kersikov connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Nord misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kersikov.
Kersikov feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Nord sprawling to the canvas! Nord rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Kersikov finish him?!
Nord is rocked!
Kersikov throws an uppercut from hell that sends Nord clean off his feet! He's out cold! Kersikov stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Hamish Kersikov!
