Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Saint Peter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bubba Price (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Saint Peter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bubba Price!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Vladimir Khabensky.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Price shoots in for a double leg but Peter sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Peter throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Price takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Price throws a series of punches but Peter avoids them all with ease.
Peter tries to close the distance and clinch but Price swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Price throws a right hand that Peter ducks under and follows up with a left that Peter also avoids with ease.

Peter scores a nice knee to the body.

Price had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Peter is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Price Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Peter's back instead.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
I really don't envy Peter right now.
Oooh a big shot gets through from Price. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!

Price gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Peter regains guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Peter comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Bubba Price has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Price swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Peter counters with a two punch combo.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Saint Peter.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Peter, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
