Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brady Wells (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kun Dalini (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kun Dalini will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brady Wells!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kun Dalini!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some bone on bone action there as Wells checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Dalini shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Wells napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Wells sneaks out the side door and pushes Dalini away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Dalini avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Wells.

Dalini closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Dalini lands in his opponent's guard.

Wells wriggles free and stands up.
We've been informed that Dalini has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Wells shoots and misses

and Dalini counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Dalini wants to break the clinch but can't.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Wells as Dalini tries to tie him up.
Wells looking for a takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brady Wells. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dalini gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Wells.
Wells drops down looking for an ankle pick but Dalini pulls his leg out and moves away.

Dalini wants to control from the top but Wells keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wells is trying to control the position but Dalini postures up.

Wells looking for a guillotine here but Dalini defends easily.
Dalini must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Dalini content to stall in guard here.
Dalini really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wells. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Wells escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dalini gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wells keeping moving, preventing Dalini from controlling successfully.

Dalini avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Wells working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dalini doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dalini manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Dalini wants to control from the top but Wells keeps moving.
Dalini has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Wells is proving hard to escape from.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Dalini sitting in guard doing not very much at all here. Wells doesn't need a second invitation though! He's locked up a guillotine and he's squeezing tight! That is tiiiiiiiiight! Dalini paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Wells - great work!
