Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Charles Grace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronaldo Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Grace comes to the cage accompanied by Do You Really Want To Hurt Me?. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Charles Grace!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ronaldo Souza!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Grace moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Grace connects with a solid leg kick.
Grace lands a head kick. Souza smiles back at him and beckons him forward.


It looks like Ronaldo Souza has been cut.
Grace throws a lazy uppercut

and Souza counters with a takedown into side control.

Souza tries for a kimura but Grace is defending well.
Souza postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Grace uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Souza has time to react.
