Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Murray Bookchin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Killer Kawalski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Bookchin might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Suicide Machines - Islands. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Murray Bookchin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Killer Kawalski!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Peter Branson and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bookchin moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Kawalski takes a swing at Bookchin's ribcage but misses.
Bookchin looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Bookchin throws a good cross that connects.
Kawalski takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Kawalski dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Kawalski throws the left hand but Bookchin avoids the punch easily.

Killer Kawalski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kawalski looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Bookchin jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kawalski walks away with a smile on his face. Bookchin gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Bookchin throws a combination. Kawalski tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Bookchin fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kawalski looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Bookchin is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Kawalski frees his head nicely. Oh but Bookchin has switched to an armbar! Kawalski is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
