Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ricky Gauss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maciej Grominski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ricky Gauss! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Maciej Grominski! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Colin Fotheringham and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Grominski is looking to chop away at Gauss's legs. A head kick by Gauss misses and Grominski counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Gauss has a takedown stuffed. Gauss ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Grominski moves away. Gauss throws a sloppy head kick and Grominski moves out of range easily. Grominski looks for a takedown but Gauss sprawls well. Grominski moves into the clinch successfully.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gauss breaks from the clinch.
Gauss fails in his attempt to clinch. Grominski follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. A left and a right from Grominski both land. Nice combination. Grominski closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Grominski manages to pull guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gauss stands up from guard. Let's bang! Gauss changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Grominski tries to avoid it but Gauss manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Grominski to the ground. Grominski escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Grominski lands with a hook. Gauss tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Gauss doesn't succeed with the takedown and Grominski counters by clinching up. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ricky Gauss. That's going to take a lot out of him. Grominski looking for a takedown. Grominski jumps guard but Gauss stands there with Grominski around his waist. Grominski gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Grominski goes for a takedown attempt but Gauss pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Grominski is trying hard to land a takedown here. Gauss sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Grominski shoots for a double leg takedown but Gauss sprawls well. He's pushed Grominski's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Grominski drives through and clinches with Gauss against the cage.
Gauss jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Grominski walks away with a smile on his face. Gauss gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Grominski throws a head kick but Gauss moves out of range.
Grominski pushes Gauss up against the cage in a clinch. Grominski is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Gauss is defending well. Gauss has Grominski pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Grominski manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Gauss breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Gauss tries to score a power double leg takedown but Grominski sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gauss somewhat. Grominski with the counter takedown but Gauss avoids it easily. Horrible takedown attempt by Gauss or perhaps it was just good defense by Grominski, which made it look bad. This has been an exciting period of action! Some bone on bone action there as Grominski checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
That's three minutes gone in the round. No luck with that takedown attempt from Gauss. Grominski shoots in but Gauss avoids the takedown attempt easily. Gauss checks a leg kick nicely. Grominski throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gauss's waist but Gauss gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Grominski off to one side. Grominski forces Gauss back against the cage and clinches. Gauss wants to break the clinch but can't.
Grominski prevents Gauss from breaking the clinch. Gauss pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Grominski fails to land with a series of punches.
Horrible takedown attempt by Grominski or perhaps it was just good defense by Gauss, which made it look bad.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gauss misses with a body kick. Grominski takes the fight into the clinch. Grominski drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Gauss gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Gauss looks to throw an elbow but misses. Grominski is trying to break free. Gauss decides to pull guard. Gauss has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Grominski should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Gauss has tightened it up now! Grominski should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
