Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Qwe Asd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hifives Ghost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Qwe Asd! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Hifives Ghost! The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Paul Gruel and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Asd has his takedown stuffed and Ghost counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Asd takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Ghost digs a good body shot into Asd's ribs. Ghost moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Asd with a poor takedown and Ghost counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Asd decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Ghost blocking the ground and pound attempt from Asd. Asd thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ghost wants to control but Asd is keeping busy.
Asd throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Asd not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Asd sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Ghost is trying to maintain the position but Asd is very close to passing his half guard. Asd looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Asd is working for a submission of some sort.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Asd thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Ghost's head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Asd is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Ghost sees it coming and defends easily. Asd is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Ghost defends it well. Ghost blocking the ground and pound attempt from Asd. Asd thows a huge punch but Ghost dodges it nicely.

Ghost really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Asd. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Ghost wants to improve his position but Asd is controlling well.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Asd thumps the canvas. Ghost is trying to get back to full guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Ghost looks winded! Asd sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Qwe Asd dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Asd goes for a double leg but Ghost avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Ghost continues to drive forward. Asd takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Ghost defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Asd. Ghost scores with a nice head shot. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Asd crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Ghost - the referee stops the clock and Asd gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Ghost. Asd manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Asd is trying hard to land a takedown here. Ghost sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Qwe Asd. That's going to take a lot out of him. Asd has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Ghost finds it's way round the side to connect with Asd's head. Asd takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Ghost lands with a right hand. Ghost fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Asd looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Asd fails to land the takedown. Asd on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Asd fails with the takedown and Ghost counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Ghost lands a jab to Asd's midsection. Ghost ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Ghost has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Ghost fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ghost closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Asd did well to prevent Ghost getting side control. Ghost is breathing heavily. Asd is looking for a sweep. Ghost is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Asd looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Well, if Ghost is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The fighters are battling for position here. Asd manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Qwe Asd overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Ghost avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Asd tries to land a sweep but no joy. Ghost postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Asd working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ghost doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Asd is tightening it up a little... Ghost has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Ghost reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Ghost taps out! Nice BJJ there by Asd!
