The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fortalejo closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kang circles away.
Fortalejo avoids the body shot from Kang.
Kang cracks Fortalejo with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Kang attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Fortalejo tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Kang manages to circle out of the way.

Kang gets tackled into the cage by Fortalejo. Fortalejo maintains the clinch.
Kang goes for a takedown in the clinch but Fortalejo prevents it.
Kang stops a takedown attempt from Fortalejo.
Fortalejo changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Kang fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Kang connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Fortalejo's hands.

Kang scores with a hook to the body. Fortalejo takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Oh Fortalejo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kang throws a chopping leg kick but Fortalejo manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Fortalejo checks a leg kick.
Fortalejo seems to have got his legs back now.

Kang lands a jab to Fortalejo's midsection.
Kang dips to his left and cracks Fortalejo with an uppercut!
Kang is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Fortalejo rather than just go for the knockout.
Kang misses with a leg kick.
Kang tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Fortalejo is able to avoid easily.
Kang walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Fortalejo drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Kang swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Fortalejo's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
