Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dan Fitzpatrick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mian Saukib (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dan Fitzpatrick! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mian Saukib! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Patrick Alders and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fitzpatrick swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Saukib counters with a takedown into side control. Fitzpatrick throws Saukib to one side and escapes! Saukib is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Fitzpatrick's half guard. Fitzpatrick holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. Saukib is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Fitzpatrick is trying to stand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Saukib trying to control the action but Fitzpatrick is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fitzpatrick wants to control but Saukib is keeping busy and won't allow it. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Fitzpatrick really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Saukib wants to take a breather but Fitzpatrick is having none of it.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Fitzpatrick fails in his attempt to clinch. Fitzpatrick tries a head kick but it misses.
Saukib instigates a clinch. Fitzpatrick is trying to maintain a safe position but Saukib gets an underhook and turns Fitzpatrick into the cage. Fitzpatrick is looking for a takedown. Fitzpatrick drops down looking for an ankle pick but Saukib pulls his leg out and moves away.
Fitzpatrick gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Saukib to score an easy takedown into full guard. Fitzpatrick pushes Saukib off and gets back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Saukib closes the distance and clinches. Saukib breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Saukib throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Fitzpatrick lands a high kick!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Saukib thows a leg kick but Fitzpatrick checks it and Fitzpatrick counters by clinching up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Saukib prevents Fitzpatrick from breaking the clinch. Saukib manages to pull guard.

Saukib wants to sweep but no luck. Fitzpatrick avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Fitzpatrick is looking to work some ground and pound but Saukib has wrist control. Saukib not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Saukib looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Saukib is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Saukib looks winded!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Saukib managing to control the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Saukib misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
As Saukib tries to get set, Fitzpatrick tries to push him back and clinch up but Saukib manages to avoid the attempt. Saukib pushes Fitzpatrick up against the cage in a clinch. Saukib prevents the takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dan Fitzpatrick. That's going to take a lot out of him. Saukib has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Fitzpatrick regains guard immediately. Fitzpatrick wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Saukib manages to pass to side control. Saukib is looking for a kimura here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mian Saukib dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Saukib pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Saukib shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Fitzpatrick is pulling down on Saukib's head to control his posture. Fitzpatrick wants to get back to his feet but Saukib is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Fitzpatrick looking to hit a scissor sweep but Saukib is one step ahead there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fitzpatrick is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Saukib wants to pass the guard but Fitzpatrick is keeping the position. Saukib advances to half guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Fitzpatrick is looking to control Saukib's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Fitzpatrick avoid being mounted?
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Saukib tries a head kick but it misses.
A low kick from Saukib is predictable there and Fitzpatrick counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Fitzpatrick is looking to control Saukib's arms but Saukib gets an underhook and turns him. Now Fitzpatrick has his back to the cage. Saukib lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Fitzpatrick wants a takedown.
Fitzpatrick is fighting off a takedown attempt but Saukib is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Fitzpatrick to the mat. Fitzpatrick regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Saukib in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Saukib trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Fitzpatrick wants to sweep here but Saukib controlling him for the moment. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Fitzpatrick utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Saukib trying to control the position from guard on top but Fitzpatrick is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Saukib drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Saukib jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Saukib preventing the sweep.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Saukib takes a swing at Fitzpatrick's ribcage but misses. Fitzpatrick fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Saukib, pushing him back against the cage. Saukib gets control of Fitzpatrick's arms and successfully pulls guard. Saukib will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Saukib has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Saukib preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Fitzpatrick throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Saukib not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Fitzpatrick is in close to Saukib's body, working some short punches and elbows. Saukib wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Fitzpatrick is now in half guard. Nice strikes from Fitzpatrick there.

He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Saukib trying to control from the bottom.
Saukib tries to roll over but Fitzpatrick keeps him under control. Fitzpatrick throwing shots but Saukib is blocking nicely. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Fitzpatrick stalling.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Fitzpatrick misses with a few strikes there.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Saukib shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Saukib showed some decent athleticism there. Fitzpatrick kicks off Saukib and gets to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mian Saukib showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Fitzpatrick tries to bum rush Saukib with a series of wild strikes but Saukib uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Saukib shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Fitzpatrick's guard. The fighters are working up against the cage. Fitzpatrick manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. Fitzpatrick is looking to take this one to the mat. Fitzpatrick lands a nice elbow. Fitzpatrick is trying to force a seperation but Saukib has the dominant position. Fitzpatrick wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Fitzpatrick is trying to pull guard but Saukib has him pressed against the cage. Fitzpatrick tries to pull guard but Saukib forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Fitzpatrick tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Saukib is in Fitzpatrick's guard. Fitzpatrick has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Saukib is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Saukib tightens his grip and picks Fitzpatrick up, before dumping him to the ground. Fitzpatrick manages to land in guard. Saukib wants to pass the guard but Fitzpatrick is keeping the position. Fitzpatrick trying to keep a closed guard but Saukib is proving a slippery customer.
Saukib stands up and waves to Fitzpatrick to follow him. Saukib dives in and scores a takedown into Fitzpatrick's guard. Fitzpatrick is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Saukib presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fitzpatrick tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Saukib jumps guard and drags Fitzpatrick to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Fitzpatrick throwing strikes but missing. Fitzpatrick is fighting to break Saukib's control of his arms but Saukib is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Saukib looking for a sweep. Not yet Saukib, not yet. Fitzpatrick lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fitzpatrick throws a big right hand that misses. Saukib preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Saukib working for a triangle but Fitzpatrick defends it easily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fitzpatrick chips away with some ground and pound. Fitzpatrick prevents Saukib from getting back to his feet. Fitzpatrick is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Saukib is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Saukib has escaped and now he's on top! Saukib lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Dan Fitzpatrick. Well Saukib has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality.
