Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rubin Landry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyfan Lan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tyfan Lan is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rubin Landry! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tyfan Lan! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Saam Ante and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lan forces Landry back against the cage and clinches. Lan wants to stall.
Landry breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Lan scores with a takedown into Landry's guard. Landry really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Lan not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Lan postures up.
Lan thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Landry seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Lan trying to control the position from guard on top but Landry is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Landry looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Landry preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Lan wants to stand but Landry has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Lan takes the fight into the clinch. Landry manages to break the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Lan is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Landry breaks the clinch.
Landry shoots in and drives through. Lan sprawls well. Lan has managed to clinch.

Landry is looking to control Lan's arms but Lan gets an underhook and turns him. Now Landry has his back to the cage. Landry breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Landry throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lan's waist but Lan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Landry off to one side. Lan feints and as Landry raises his hands in defense, Lan changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Landry keeping moving, preventing Lan from controlling successfully. Landry keeping full guard, as Lan tries to pass.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lan won't allow Landry to sweep him here. Lan trying to control the position from guard on top but Landry is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Lan has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Landry is proving hard to escape from.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Lan gets a double leg takedown into Landry's guard. Landry keeping moving, preventing Lan from controlling successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Landry seems keen to control Lan's posture. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Landry keeping moving, preventing Lan from controlling successfully. Tyfan Lan dominated that round. That's time! Landry's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Lan bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Lan is looking to take a break and control but Landry is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Landry prevents Lan from moving into mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Landry keeps working. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lan tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lan tries to move to mount but Landry blocks the move with his legs. Lan tries to stand but Landry is controlling his head.

Landry is trying to force a seperation but Lan has the dominant position. Landry breaks from the clinch.
Lan clinches up against the cage. Lan turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Landry controls the position for a moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lan trying to control the action but Landry is working from the bottom. Lan is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Landry has escaped the position, nice work there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lan content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Lan creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Landry sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Lan has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Lan lands a decent elbow from side control. Lan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Landry keeps working.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Lan fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Landry, pushing him back against the cage. Lan has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Landry is trying to keep an underhook but Lan manages to get the takedown into half guard. Lan not landing any meaningful shots this time. Landry avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Lan. Landry is looking to control Lan's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Landry avoid being mounted? Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Lan seems to be working for a kimura but Landry defends the submission attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tyfan Lan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Nice sprawl there from Lan as Landry shoots in. Landry shoots in but Lan avoids the takedown attempt easily. Landry will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rubin Landry. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Lan plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Rubin Landry is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Landry gets caught napping as Lan dives in and scores a takedown. Landry manages to retain guard. Lan drops back looking for a leg! Landry is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Landry manages to kick Lan off! Lan jumps back into Landry's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lan looking to sit in guard and control but Landry gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lan looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Landry has picked Lan up and slammed him! Lan can't keep hold of the triangle and Landry manages to pass to side control! Landry creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Lan is looking to regain half guard here but Landry keeps moving and retains side control. Landry tries for a kimura but Lan is defending well. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Lan wants to control but Landry postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Lan gets back to half guard. Lan wants to control but Landry is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Lan shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Lan showed some decent athleticism there. Tyfan Lan has got the better of the ground game so far. Landry is positioning himself well to prevent Lan advancing to mount.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Lan prevents Landry from improving his position. Lan passes into side control, despite Landry's attempt to control the position.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Lan closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Landry quickly recovers to half guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Lan stands up out of the half guard. Rubin Landry has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Tyfan Lan is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Lan closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Landry's guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Tyfan Lan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Lan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
