Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sun Kato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Doby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kato's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, STILL BALLIN. Doby comes into a darkened arena with his song building. International Players Anthem kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
41 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sun Kato! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
26 - 25 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Shane Doby! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Illya Tyunina and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kato leaves Doby with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Kato. Doby moves out of range as Kato strikes. Kato scores with a shot to the body.
Doby misses with a left hand and Kato counters with a slapping leg kick. Sloppy strikes from Kato. Those never looked like landing. Kato scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Kato throws a jab when Doby was well out of range. Shane Doby seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kato swings for the body but Doby moves out of range.
Doby misses with a low kick as Kato jumps back. Doby throws a leg kick that is checked and Kato counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Doby drives through with a takedown into guard. Kato is wriggling around but Doby manages to pass to half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Doby passes to side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. The ground and pound from Doby seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Doby working away. Doby misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Doby working the ground and pound. Doby cracks Kato with a big right hand but Kato just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Kato is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Doby working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Doby is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Kato's shoulder. That is not cool. Kato parries the strikes from Doby easily there. Doby is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Kato to escape.
Doby throws an elbow but Kato slips to the side and avoids it well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Doby is staying tight to Kato's torso, preventing him from escaping.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Doby misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Doby has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Doby lands a decent elbow from side control. Doby misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Kato tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Doby easily slips into full mount! Doby throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Doby prevents Kato from getting the reversal. Doby is landing with some decent strikes but Kato is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Doby trying to control but Kato is having none of it. Doby looking to secure an arm triangle but Kato defends it well. Doby looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

Doby throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Kato because Doby loaded up on that one. Kato in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Kato is in a horrible position here. Doby smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Doby wants to control the action but instead Kato gets a body lock and reverses into Doby's guard! Nice work! Doby wants to hit a switch here but Kato passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Doby there! Doby is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Doby slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Doby is trying to get back to full guard. Kato decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Nice sprawl there from Kato as Doby shoots in. Doby swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Doby takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Doby misses with a two punch combination.
Kato was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Doby blocks a low kick nicely. Doby drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Kato defends it well. Good work by Doby as he checks the leg kick. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Shane Doby dominated that round. That's time! Kato's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Kato throws a leg kick but Doby checks it. Doby feints the counter takedown. Doby shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kato as he avoids it easily. Doby scores with a sloppy right hand. Kato should have avoided that one. Doby throws a jab but it's blocked by Kato. Kato misses with a low kick.

A big right from Doby misses. Kato lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Kato throws a solid leg kick but Doby takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Kato. Nice sprawl there from Kato as Doby shoots in. Sun Kato has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shane Doby. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Doby ducks under a wild hook from Kato. Doby throws a nice looking combination but Kato bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. It looked like Kato was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Doby throws a low kick, looking for Kato's leg but Kato calmly moves out of range. Kato lands a jab to Doby's midsection. Nice shot lands for Doby.
That's one minute gone in the round. Doby connects with a solid leg kick. Doby misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kato.
A counter left hand to the body from Kato misses its target. Kato throws a right and a left that Doby avoids nicely. Doby looks like he wants to counter punch here. A head kick misses from Kato. Kato misses with a jab, cross combination.

Doby shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kato sprawls well. Kato wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Doby gets slowly back to his feet. Doby throws a low kick but it's checked well by Kato. An inside leg kick lands from Doby. Doby shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Kato is trying to defend but Doby finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Doby is just content to waste time from the top position. Kato takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Shane Doby has got the better of the ground game so far.

He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Doby loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Doby trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Doby is pushing down on Kato's leg trying to pass to half guard. Kato is fighting to maintain full guard but Doby has managed to sneak the leg through. Kato tries to roll over but Doby keeps him under control. Kato looks like he's trying to stand up.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Doby lands strikes from half guard. Kato is trying to control but can't.
Kato is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Kato is refusing to be controlled, as Doby sits in half guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Doby has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Kato blocks a low kick nicely. Doby closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kato circles away. Kato throws a leg kick that misses. Kato walks into a left hand. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Nice shot by Doby. Doby cracks Kato with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Kato misses with a body kick. Doby throws out a loose jab but Kato uses good head movement to avoid it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Doby lands a jab to the nose. Kato is looking to wear down Doby with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Doby scores with a jab to the jaw. A head kick misses from Kato. Doby clinches. Kato lands a left hand.
Kato's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Doby works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Doby connects with a body shot that sends Kato's belly button to the back. Doby pivots, looking for a leg kick but Kato is out of range and Doby settles back down. Doby punishes Kato's body with a nice straight punch. Doby digs a good hook to Kato's body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Doby moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Kato lands a nice looking body kick. Doby tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Kato has taken the fight to the clinch.

Doby is putting a hurting on Kato here, landing some big shots from side control. Doby looking to control but instead Kato has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard. That's three minutes gone in the round. Doby seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kato does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Doby seems to be looking for submissions.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Doby postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Doby shoots in looking for a takedown. Kato tries to sprawl out of it but Doby keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kato manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Kato swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Sun Kato has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. A jab from Doby does it's job there. Kato gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Kato escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kato stuffs the takedown attempt from Doby. Doby gets slowly back to his feet. Shane Doby is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Doby throws a hook but Kato blocks it. Doby moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Doby swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. A leg kick checked by Doby. Kato walks into a straight right hand from Doby. Doby fails in his attempt to clinch. Doby takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
And that's the end of the fight! Shane Doby comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Doby winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
