Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alan Issacs!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, George Foreman!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Joseph Jones and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foreman throws a right and a left that Issacs avoids nicely.
Foreman throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Foreman lands a slapping body shot.

Issacs gets a takedown into half guard.
Issacs trying to pass the guard but Foreman defending well.

Issacs is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Foreman sees it coming and defends easily.
Foreman is looking to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Issacs trying to pass the guard but Foreman defending well.
Foreman is looking to control Issacs's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Foreman avoid being mounted?

Issacs is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Foreman is just riding it out for now. Issacs eventually gives up the hold.

That's one minute gone in the round.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Foreman tries to clinch but Issacs is having none of it.
A jab-cross combination lands for Foreman and sends Issacs crashing to the mat! Foreman follows him down to the mat - Issacs regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!


It looks like Alan Issacs has been cut.
Issacs is breathing heavily.
Foreman is looking to take a break and control but Issacs is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Issacs is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Foreman scores with a couple of nice shots.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Foreman lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Foreman is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Issacs kicks Foreman off and gets back to his feet.
Foreman lands with a right that hurts Issacs. Issacs looks to clinch but Foreman throws a short knee that drops Issacs. This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch and Knee). George Foreman!
