Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Rubey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stan Marsh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stan Marsh has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Chris Rubey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
17 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Stan Marsh! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rubey closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Rubey lands in his opponent's guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Marsh keeping moving, preventing Rubey from controlling successfully. Marsh has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at GTi 888. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one. Rubey trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Rubey wants to pass the guard but Marsh is keeping the position. Rubey prevents Marsh from getting back to his feet. Marsh preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Marsh is trying to control the position but Rubey postures up. Rubey stopping the sweep attempt from Marsh. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rubey throws a big elbow that misses. Marsh keeping moving, preventing Rubey from controlling successfully. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rubey scoring with some ground and pound. Rubey postures up in Marsh's guard and throws a big left but Marsh blocks it. Rubey has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's one minute gone in the round. Marsh looking for a sweep. Not yet Marsh, not yet. Rubey is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Marsh looking to control.
Marsh manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Rubey manages to get himself to full guard.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Rubey misses with a looping right. Rubey stuns Marsh with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Rubey looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Rubey thows a left - swing and a miss! Marsh misses with a low kick.
Marsh checks a leg kick nicely. Rubey takes the fight into the clinch. Rubey lands with a light punch inside.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Marsh scores with a shot to the side of Rubey's head. Marsh struggles to land a body shot inside as Rubey controls his hands.
Marsh misses with a hook from the clinch. Rubey stalling in the clinch but Marsh improves position. Rubey throws a punch but it's blocked by Marsh. The referee calls for Marsh to work.
Marsh is leaning against Rubey and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Marsh breaks the clinch.
A low kick from Rubey is predictable there and Marsh counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Chris Rubey has been cut. Marsh lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Rubey tries to clinch there but Marsh circles away.
Rubey cracks Marsh with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. A shot to the liver by Rubey. Beautiful body shot. Marsh throws a jab when Rubey was well out of range. Chris Rubey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rubey misses with an uppercut
and Marsh counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rubey throws a body kick, spinning off balance enabling Marsh to counter with a crisp jab. Rubey throws a hook but Marsh blocks it. Marsh connects with a nice looking jab.
A cross from Marsh lands. Marsh slips under a jab from Rubey. Rubey cracks Marsh with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Rubey connects with a solid leg kick. Rubey throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Marsh uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rubey.
Rubey takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Marsh has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. A slow jab from Rubey misses its intended target. Rubey throws a lazy right hand but Marsh sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Rubey misses with a right hand and Marsh counters with a stiff right hand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Rubey slips a straight right by Marsh. Nice jab there from Rubey. Rubey throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Marsh's head. Marsh scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Chris Rubey's cut is getting worse. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Rubey!
Rubey throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Marsh ducks under a wild hook from Rubey. Rubey misses with a right hand and Marsh connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Rubey throws a shot from downtown. Marsh moves away and avoids it. Marsh displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Rubey throws out the jab. Marsh drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Rubey right on the button. Rubey goes down! Marsh follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Marsh gets the win via TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Stan Marsh! Stan Marsh thanked the fans post fight for their support.
