Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Uno Santo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Saint Godehard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Saint Godehard has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Uno Santo's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Uno Santo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Saint Godehard! The judges for this bout are Josh West, Jeff Smith and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling eachother endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive. Santo looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Godehard moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Godehard is working an open guard so Santo takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Santo looks for a takedown. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Santo pressing his opponent against the cage. Godehard slowing the pace effectively. Godehard is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Uno Santo. Godehard lands with a slapping head kick.
It looks like Uno Santo has been cut. Santo shoots in and gets a takedown into Godehard's guard. Godehard wants to get back to his feet but Santo passes into half guard.
Santo really is a fat lump. Santo is nestled in close to Godehard, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Godehard is trying to get back to full guard. Santo is controlling the pace.
Godehard is refusing to be controlled, as Santo sits in half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Uno Santo dominated that round. The cut man is working on Uno Santo's cut. That's time! Santo's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Santo. Godehard bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Godehard manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Godehard dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Santo is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Santo holding his opponent close, against the cage.

A close second round but Saint Godehard will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on Uno Santo's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Santo bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Godehard is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Santo has just dragged him back down to the mat. What's Godehard going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle. Santo stands up and we're back to a striking position. Santo shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Santo shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Godehard trying to control here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Godehard is trying is best to control the position here. Santo trying to control the action but Godehard is working from the bottom. Santo is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Godehard! Godehard wants to hold on but Santo pushes him away. Santo is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Godehard can do to turn this around? Santo has control of Godehard's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Godehard regains control of the situation pretty easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Santo pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Godehard tries to hold on but Santo postures up. Godehard is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Santo controlling the position easily from mount. Godehard wants to control but Santo is having none of it. Santo thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Godehard tries to reverse the position but Santo maintains control. Santo with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Godehard delivers a nice body kick.
And that's the end of the fight! Uno Santo showed his dominance in that final round. I think Santo has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Uno Santo! In his post fight interview, Uno Santo started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
