Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Marcos Rojas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and AJ Bradley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Marcos Rojas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, AJ Bradley! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Fedor Mirinova and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Rojas shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bradley sprawls well. Bradley wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Rojas gets slowly back to his feet. Rojas tries for a takedown but Bradley circles away easily and Bradley moves into the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rojas drops down looking for an ankle pick but Bradley pulls his leg out and moves away.

That's one minute gone in the round. Rojas throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Bradley tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Rojas working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Bradley. Bradley is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Rojas is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Rojas has escaped and now he's on top! Bradley is trying to keep Rojas in close.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Rojas fails miserably with a takedown attempt. A nice side step and Bradley releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rojas moves into the clinch. Rojas goes for a takedown in the clinch but Bradley prevents it.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Bradley gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Rojas has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Bradley is on him like a limpet, forcing Rojas back against the cage. Rojas is trying to pull guard but Bradley turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Bradley has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Rojas is trying to keep an underhook but Bradley manages to get the takedown into half guard. Bradley is looking to advance position but Rojas won't allow it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bradley works his way into side control. Bradley tries to advance to mount but can't. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! A close round but AJ Bradley will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Rojas rushes Bradley and presses him up against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rojas swings wildly with an uppercut but Bradley uses good head movement to avoid it. Rojas pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rojas will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Bradley tries to counter by closing the distance. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Rojas rushes Bradley and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Rojas tries to pull guard but Bradley won't allow it.
Rojas has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Bradley uses from the top position. Bradley drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Rojas dives on top into guard. Rojas throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Rojas has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Rojas postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Rojas loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Rojas throws a strike but Bradley rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Bradley is looking to work some ground and pound but Rojas has wrist control. Bradley trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Rojas can't keep his opponent in guard - Bradley advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Bradley is looking for a kimura here.
Bradley is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Rojas doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Bradley. Bradley is breathing heavily.

Bradley passes Rojas's right leg, so he's now in half guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Bradley is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Rojas! Bradley goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Rojas turns into him and now he's in Bradley's guard.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Rojas gets in close and instigates a clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Rojas tries to score a body lock takedown but Bradley shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Rojas manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bradley is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Bradley is looking to pass Rojas's guard but actually Rojas recovers to full guard. Bradley is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
