Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Paul Robbins!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Trevor Gratis and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Robbins manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Cote on his heels. He'll look to pass Cote's guard now, I'm sure.

Robbins is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Cote is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Cote has escaped and now he's on top!
Cote definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Cote is looking to stand up but Robbins won't let him.
Robbins pulls Cote in close to prevent any damage.
Robbins wants to sweep but no luck.
Cote would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Cote trying to control but Robbins is working from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Robbins preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Cote looking to pass the guard.
Cote has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Robbins is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Robbins is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Robbins is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Cote has his hands clasped together but Robbins extends and breaks Cote's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Robbins.
