Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnathon Duran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Gauss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Johnathon Duran! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Tyson Gauss! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Chris Edwards and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A shot to the liver by Gauss. Beautiful body shot. Gauss forces Duran back against the cage and clinches. Gauss throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Duran blocks it with crossed arms. Gauss gets a trip takedown into half guard. Gauss missing with the ground and pound from half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Gauss seems to be looking for submissions.
Gauss with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Duran looks like he's trying to stand up.
Duran is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gauss controlling the action here.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Gauss circles away from the clinch attempt.
Gauss throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Duran tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Gauss is in Duran's guard. Duran preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Gauss is fighting to break Duran's control of his arms but Duran is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Gauss sitting in guard here, content to control. Duran really is a fat lump.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gauss trying to control but Duran is working from the bottom. Gauss seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Gauss gets a takedown into half guard. Duran is looking to escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gauss is trying to control. Duran wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Gauss wants to stand up but Duran is controlling the position.
Gauss is keen to just control but Duran is a slippery customer. Gauss slows the pace down in half guard. Gauss missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Gauss is working for a kimura but Duran is defending it quite comfortably.
Duran controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Gauss throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tyson Gauss dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Gauss closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Duran is trying to stand up here but Gauss is controlling him well. Gauss is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard. Duran looking to control.
Duran is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Gauss is controlling him. Duran can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Gauss controls the pace. Duran might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gauss throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Duran works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gauss is stalling in the full guard. Gauss throws an elbow that misses. Duran uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Gauss's guard. Nice move by Duran! Duran gets to his feet. Gauss looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Duran tries to clinch up but Gauss circles away and keeps his distance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Gauss closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Duran did well to prevent Gauss getting side control. Duran is trying to maintain the position but Gauss is very close to passing his half guard. Still in half guard, Gauss seems content to control. Duran manages to escape and get back to his feet! Gauss darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Tyson Gauss has got the better of the ground game so far. Duran keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gauss is looking for a kimura but Duran is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Gauss to get the leverage. Gauss is looking to take a break and control but Duran is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gauss perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Gauss wants to pass the guard but Duran is defending well. Gauss wants to stand up but Duran has a hold of him and won't allow it.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Gauss dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Gauss moves into the clinch. Gauss pulls guard successfully.

Gauss looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Gauss is breathing heavily. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Duran would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Duran is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tyson Gauss showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Duran tries to sprawl but Gauss drives through with a takedown into half guard. Duran regains full guard. Nicely done. Gauss with a flurry of punches that miss. Gauss's corner is telling him to maintain position. Gauss trying to control the position from guard on top but Duran is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gauss controlling from the top position. Duran wants to sweep here but Gauss controlling him for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gauss postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Gauss has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Duran manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. Duran leaning against his opponent.
Duran tries to pull guard but Gauss won't allow it.
Duran is fighting off a takedown attempt but Gauss is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Duran to the mat. Duran regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Gauss wants to control from the top but Duran keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gauss wants to pass the guard but Duran is keeping the position. Gauss is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Duran wants to stand and escape but Gauss is having none of it. Gauss throwing strikes but missing. Duran is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Gauss drives through with a takedown into guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Gauss slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Gauss throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Duran is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Duran keeping moving, preventing Gauss from controlling successfully. Gauss slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Gauss prevents Duran from getting back to his feet.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Tyson Gauss comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Gauss has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
