The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick from jones lands but Denn takes it in his stride.

Denn changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. jones tries to avoid it but Denn manages to keep hold of a leg and drag jones to the ground. jones escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Denn throws a lazy right hand but jones sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Denn drops back looking for a leg! jones is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and jones manages to kick Denn off! Denn jumps back into jones's guard.
Denn sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed jones's guard.
jones tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Denn manages to move to mount!

Denn is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. jones is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. jones flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Denn anticipates the leg and manages to get behind jones and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Denn slips an arm under jones chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Denn has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Denn is squeezing on jones like an anaconda would it's prey. jones fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
