Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Floyd Sanchez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Carrot! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carrot closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Sanchez quickly recovers to half guard. Sanchez trying to control here.
Sanchez wants to get back to full guard. Sanchez trying to hold on to Carrot's head to control him but Carrot postures up.
Sanchez tries to roll over but Carrot keeps him under control. Sanchez trying to control from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Carrot prevents Sanchez from improving his position. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Carrot tries to pass to full mount but Sanchez defends it.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sanchez instigates a clinch. Sanchez has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Carrot avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Carrot gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Sanchez looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Carrot passes into half guard.

Sanchez is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Carrot pulls his head out easily. Sanchez tries to get to full guard but Carrot has control of the leg.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Carrot missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Carrot works his way into side control. Sanchez is looking to regain half guard here but Carrot keeps moving and retains side control. Sanchez stuck in half guard on the bottom here. Sanchez is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Carrot off and has taken his back!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carrot trying to control the action but Sanchez just sinks the hooks in. Carrot is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Sanchez.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Carrot staying busy and making it hard for Sanchez to control. Sanchez thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent. Sanchez is landing with strikes. Carrot can't take much more of this.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. I would not like to be Carrot right now.

Carrot decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Sanchez flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Carrot is trying to control. Sanchez wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Sanchez wants to get back to full guard but Carrot has mounted him! Carrot wants to control but Sanchez has made it back to half guard. Nice work. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Sanchez could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. The fight moves into the clinch position. Sanchez successfully pulls guard.
Carrot avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Sanchez throws his legs up looking for a submission but Carrot uses it to pass to side control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Sanchez is being controlled here. Carrot fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Sanchez tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Carrot wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. You can see the frustration on Sanchez's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Carrot decides to stand up, so the ref orders Sanchez to his feet. Sanchez fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Carrot, pushing him back against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sanchez tries to pull guard but Carrot forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Sanchez using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Carrot has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Sanchez tries to break free but Carrot pushes him back against the cage. Sanchez breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Carrot manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Sanchez on his heels. He'll look to pass Sanchez's guard now, I'm sure. Carrot pushing down on Sanchez's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Sanchez blocking the ground and pound attempt from Carrot. Carrot passes to side control. Carrot happy to just control the position for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Carrot has control of an arm but Sanchez manages to advance to Carrot's back! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Sanchez is landing with strikes from the back. Sanchez controlling well, preventing Carrot from escaping the position.
Carrot turns into Sanchez and is now in his guard.

John Carrot showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! And we move into the final round!
Sanchez tries to clinch up but Carrot circles away and keeps his distance. Carrot is clearly looking to counter with head kicks. Carrot looks for the body kick but Sanchez saw that one coming. Sanchez gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Carrot breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Sanchez gets a double leg takedown into Carrot's guard. John Carrot has got the better of the ground game so far. Carrot keeping moving, preventing Sanchez from controlling successfully. Sanchez postures up in Carrot's guard and throws a big left but Carrot blocks it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sanchez content to stall in guard here. Carrot controls Sanchez momentarily but Sanchez frees himself. Carrot takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sanchez slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Sanchez cracks Carrot with a solid left hand. Carrot trying to control the position here. Sanchez stands up over Carrot, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Floyd Sanchez is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Carrot shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Sanchez is looking for a sweep. Carrot is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Carrot is thwarting Sanchez's attempts to control the position. Sanchez gets back to full guard.
Sanchez will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Carrot. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Sanchez utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carrot passes into half guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Nice body kick there by Sanchez. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sanchez. Sanchez tries to clinch up. Carrot drives through and clinches with Sanchez against the cage.
Carrot has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Sanchez uses from the top position. Carrot looking to hit a scissor sweep but Sanchez is one step ahead there. Sanchez lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Carrot utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Sanchez won't allow Carrot to sweep him here. Sanchez looking to sit in guard and control but Carrot gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Carrot postures up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Carrot forces Sanchez back against the cage and clinches. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Carrot wants the takedown. Sanchez is fighting it off but Carrot persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Sanchez's guard against the cage. Floyd Sanchez has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! John Carrot is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Sanchez is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
And that's the end of the fight! John Carrot comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Carrot winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
