Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boykin misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
No joy there for Mabogo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Nice shot lands for Boykin.

It looks like Kenalemodisa Mabogo has been cut.
A shot to the liver by Mabogo. Beautiful body shot.
Mabogo swings for the body but Boykin moves out of range.
Mabogo looks for the body kick but Boykin saw that one coming.
Boykin takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Boykin keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Mabogo swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Boykin counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Mabogo thinking.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mabogo uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Boykin.
Mabogo fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Mabogo lands a nice looking body kick.
Boykin throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Mabogo.
As Boykin looks to move away, Mabogo throws a big counter combo bu Boykin just gets out of the way.

and Boykin takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Dimentiy Boykin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A head kick misses from Mabogo.
Mabogo throws a lazy right hand but Boykin sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mabogo cracks the inside of Boykin's front leg.

Oh, that's a big right hand from Boykin and Mabogo goes tumbling to the canvas! Boykin follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.

Oh Mabogo is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Boykin lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Mabogo quite badly. Mabogo pulls Boykin in close trying to recover. Boykin postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Mabogo on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Mabogo doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dimentiy Boykin!
A relieved looking Dimentiy Boykin thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
