Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Benton Carroll (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mikedmondson Edmondson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Edmondson.
Carroll throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Edmondson looking to score a takedown here. Carroll is defending well but Edmondson drives through and ends up in Carroll's guard.
Carroll wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Edmondson manages to pass to side control.

Carroll is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Edmondson has just dragged him back down to the mat.

That was a close round but I would say that Benton Carroll will probably get the nod.

Carroll feints a jab promting Edmondson to slip. Carroll then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Edmondson slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Carroll jabs Edmondson to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Edmondson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Benton Carroll.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Carroll, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
