Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bato Bato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zhi Wung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bato Bato! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Zhi Wung! The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, David Hoff and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! An inside leg kick lands from Wung. Wung tries to clinch but Bato moves out of range. Bato throws a sloppy head kick and Wung moves out of range easily. Bato shoots in and gets a takedown into Wung's guard. Wung scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Wung misses with the combination.
Wung is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Bato's half guard. Bato is trying to control but can't.
Wung drops an elbow to the side of Bato's head. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bato keeping hold of Wung's head, controlling as best he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bato tries to roll over but Wung keeps him under control. Bato is in trouble now - Wung has advanced to mount!
That's one minute gone in the round. Bato tries to hold on but Wung pushes him away. Bato is working to get back to half guard.
Bato tries to lock up and control but Wung gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Bato is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Bato manages to regain half guard. Good work. Bato is looking to improve his position.
Bato regains full guard. Nicely done.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Bato manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Wung on his heels. He'll look to pass Wung's guard now, I'm sure. Wung is looking for a triangle but Bato pushes his legs off easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bato wants to control from the top but Wung keeps moving. Bato wants to pass the guard but Wung is keeping the position. Bato trying to control the position from guard on top but Wung is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bato is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Bato's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Bato is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Bato throwing strikes but missing. Wung has control of Bato's left arm, preventing Bato from doing any damage. Wung trying to strike off his back.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Bato gets a double leg takedown into Wung's guard. Bato stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wung swivels though and keeps the full guard. Wung is trying to control the position but Bato postures up. Bato lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Bato trying to control the position from guard on top but Wung is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bato scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Bato won't allow Wung to get back to his feet. Bato content to stall in guard here. Bato trying to control but Wung is working from the bottom. Wung preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wung being controlled here, momentarily. Bato has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Wung doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Bato looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Wung! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bato works to advance to full mount. Wung defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Wung looks winded! Bato trying to control but he's not successful this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bato Bato dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Bato throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Wung was covering up waiting for the punch and Bato finishes the takedown easily into guard. Bato with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Wung avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Bato with a nice head shot there. Bato is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Bato loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Bato scoring with punches to the head and body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bato preventing the sweep. Wung is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Wung has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bato can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Wung is breathing heavily. Bato controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wung looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Bato trying to control but Wung is working from the bottom. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Bato postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Bato not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Bato throwing strikes but missing. Wung looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Bato dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Bato takes the fight into the clinch. Bato has Wung pressed against the cage, preventing Wung from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Bato is pushing Wung up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Bato manages to pull guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bato working a defensive guard here.
Wung content to stall in guard here. Wung preventing the sweep. Bato Bato overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wung trying to control but Bato is working from the bottom. Wung stopping the sweep attempt from Bato. Bato is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Bato trying to strike off his back.
Bato is adopting a defensive guard. Bato seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. Bato is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Wung shoots in for a takedown but Bato shows good takedown defense. Bato was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Bato looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Ground and pound from Bato.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wung on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Ground and pound from Bato. Bato sitting and controlling from the half guard. Wung is not content to let Bato control the position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wung wants to clinch. Bato throws a head kick but Wung moves out of range.
Wung tries to keep at a distance but Bato has taken the fight into the clinch. A short right from Bato. Wung is trying to break free. Wung has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Bato uses from the top position. Wung is pressing down on Bato's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Wung takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Bato looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Wung working a defensive guard here.
Bato postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Bato works over Wung with some ground and pound from guard. Bato trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Bato is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Wung looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Bato has Wung up against the cage in a clinch.
Bato breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bato throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Wung tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Bato is in Wung's guard. Bato scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Bato wants to control from the top but Wung keeps moving. Bato working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Bato postures up and lands a big shot to Wung's brow. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bato accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Bato is in close to Wung's body, working some short punches and elbows. Bato slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bato stands and throws Wung's legs to the side, diving into side control. Bato is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Wung's shoulder. That is not cool. Wung is looking for a sweep. Bato cracks Wung with an elbow. That is naaassty. Bato looks up at the clock and then as Wung takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Bato smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Bato scores with punches from side control. Bato is putting a hurting on Wung here, landing some big shots from side control.
Wung is rocked! Wung takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Bato passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Wung! Bato landing strikes, looking to finish! Wung takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Bato's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
