Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Quincey Ferguson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luke Psycho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Quincey Ferguson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Luke Psycho! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Aafke Stam and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Psycho misses with a wild body shot. No joy there for Psycho, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Ferguson jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. A chopping leg kick lands by Ferguson. Psycho dives in for a single leg takedown but Ferguson sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Psycho tries for a takedown but Ferguson circles away easily and Ferguson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Ferguson thumps Psycho with a low kick. Ferguson scores with a crisp jab that stopped Psycho in his tracks. Psycho misses with a looping right. We've been told by Ferguson's head coaches at Unicorn Powered Fighting that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Psycho fails to land the takedown. Quincey Ferguson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Luke Psycho. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jab from Ferguson. Psycho has his takedown stuffed and Ferguson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Nice body kick there by Ferguson.
That's one minute gone in the round. Psycho fails to land with a series of punches.
Psycho stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Ferguson. Psycho tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. The crowd cheers as Ferguson lands an impressive looking overhand right. Psycho doesn't seem phased though. Ferguson connects with a leg kick. Psycho looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Ferguson looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Ferguson wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Psycho takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Psycho throws a poor cross that misses
letting Ferguson counter with a right hand. Ferguson throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Ferguson scores with a punch to the head. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ferguson fails to land with a series of punches.
Psycho tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Psycho on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Psycho is rocked! Ferguson throws a nice inside leg kick. Psycho is still on wobbly legs! Can Ferguson finish him? Ferguson lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Psycho up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Ferguson from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Psycho's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Quincey Ferguson! Quincey Ferguson was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
