0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Altin Rraklli! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Hugh Johnson and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rraklli is looking to clinch but Pierce is avoiding it.
Rraklli darts in and clinches Pierce up against the cage. Pierce will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Rraklli up against the cage. Knees to the body from Rraklli.
Rraklli lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Pierce is working for takedown but Rraklli is calmly controlling the position for now. Pierce takes an elbow to the forehead. Rraklli unloads a knee to the mid-section. Pierce lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. A bit of stalling here from Rraklli.
The crowd are getting on Rraklli's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch. Rraklli creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Pierce's defenses.
It looks like Michael Pierce has been cut. Rraklli unloads a knee to the mid-section. Pierce lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Pierce is breathing heavily. Rraklli is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Rraklli comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Rraklli with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Pierce misses with some punches.

Oh Pierce is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Rraklli has Pierce pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Pierce is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Rraklli - that's hurt Pierce badly! Oh, another knee lands and Pierce is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Pierce doesn't seem to be complaining.
