0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mark Avreliy! The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Ivan Kurochkin and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ware swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Avreliy holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Ware has Avreliy pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Ware pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Avreliy tumbling to the mat - Ware dives into Avreliy's guard. Ware postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Avreliy trying to control the position.
Ware stops Avreliy from standing up. Avreliy striking from the bottom.
Ware missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Avreliy will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Ware bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Avreliy is trying to control Ware's posture but Ware avoids it. Avreliy is trying to get back to half guard. An elbow from Ware crashes against the mat.
