Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 25 - 2, fighting out of London, Steven Walter!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Nard Betker and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frazier misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
And Walter tries to counter it with a takedown but Frazier pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Frazier displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Walter.
Frazier keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Walter takes the fight into the clinch.
Walter throws an elbow that misses.
Walter with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.


It looks like Mo Frazier has been cut.
Walter tries to pull guard but Frazier won't allow it.
Mo Frazier has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steven Walter.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Walter moves forwards but Frazier connects with a nice, crisp jab.

As Walter looks to move away, Frazier throws a big counter combo bu Walter just gets out of the way.

Frazier looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Frazier stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Frazier wants it to stay on the feet.
Frazier keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Frazier closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Walter tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Frazier manages to move to mount!

Frazier gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Walter looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Frazier is fending him off so far but Walter persists. Nope, Frazier circles away and we're back to standing.
Frazier looks to land a body kick but Walter moved away.
Walter misses with a few strikes there.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Walter throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Frazier is trying hard to land a takedown here. Walter sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Frazier throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Frazier's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Walter shoots for a takedown but Frazier saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Frazier fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Frazier throws a right and a left that both miss.
Sloppy strikes from Frazier. Those never looked like landing.
Walter shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Frazier as he avoids it easily.
Frazier went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Frazier dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Walter has a takedown stuffed.
Mo Frazier has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steven Walter.
Walter wants to clinch up but Frazier keeps it at a distance.
Walter shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Frazier pinned against the cage. Frazier gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Walter's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Frazier connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Walter scrambles back to his feet.

Walter walks into a stiff left hand from Frazier.
Frazier fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Walter on the side of the head.
Frazier is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Frazier stalks Walter and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Walter's face. Walter staggers backwards, shaken.

and Frazier counters with a three punch combo that has Walter backing up. Walter nods at Frazier to acknowledge the strikes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Walter clinches up with Frazier and pushes him back against the cage.

Walter fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Frazier avoids it really well and circles away.

Frazier goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Frazier lands with a straight right. Walter didn't see that one coming.

Frazier has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Frazier is looking to work some ground and pound but Walter has wrist control.
Frazier throws an elbow that misses. Walter uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Frazier's guard. Nice move by Walter!

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Frazier shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Frazier was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Walter doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Frazier counters with a nice double leg into side control. Walter won't be happy with that.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The fighters are working up against the cage. Walter manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Frazier appears to be looking for a big counter.
Frazier pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Walter back to the cage. Frazier follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Walter takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Frazier changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Walter tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Frazier manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Walter looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Frazier is fending him off so far but Walter persists. Nope, Frazier circles away and we're back to standing.

and Frazier counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Frazier throws a good cross that connects.

Frazier throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Walter was covering up waiting for the punch and Frazier finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Frazier is working for takedown but Walter is calmly controlling the position for now.
Frazier is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Walter gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Walter fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Walter has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Frazier is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Walter tries to throw a body punch but Frazier avoids it by throwing Walter back against the cage.
Walter pushes off an throws an elbow but Frazier leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Frazier, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
