Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fatu Tua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kirk Laputa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tua's entrance music is Freak on a Leash by Korn. A fine choice. Laputa has chosen Suicidal Tendencies - You Can't Bring Me Down as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Tua, as that shot connected.
Fatu Tua seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Laputa steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Tua.

Laputa lunges at Tua with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Tua's hand.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tua uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Laputa has time to react.

Laputa throws a shot from downtown. Tua moves away and avoids it.
Tua appears to be looking for a big counter.
Tua bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Laputa's head backwards.

Laputa moves into the clinch.
Laputa pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Tua drops Laputa onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Laputa is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

Laputa is rocked!
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Tua.
Laputa is still on wobbly legs! Can Tua finish him?
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Tua escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Laputa doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Laputa looks winded!
A nice leg kick lands there from Tua.
Tua dances in with a quick combination. Laputa is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Tua snaps Laputa's head back. Laputa stumbles backwards against the cage. Tua steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Laputa's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Laputa just didn't come prepared.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Fatu Tua!
Fatu Tua was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
