Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Noirtier De Villefort (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Kaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). De Villefort kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Hail Napoleon. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

22 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Max Kaz!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Trevor Gratis and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Villefort swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kaz tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A quick step to the side and De Villefort tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kaz throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Kaz misses with a leg kick
and De Villefort counters with a nice uppercut.
Kaz thuds his right hand into De Villefort's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Nice defenses there by De Villefort.
De Villefort fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kaz manages to avoid it.
De Villefort throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Kaz goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
De Villefort bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Kaz uses good head movement to avoid the hook from De Villefort.
De Villefort misses the jab.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Good leg kick by De Villefort there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
De Villefort lands a jab to Kaz's midsection.
De Villefort slips a jab from Kaz.
A counter left hand to the body from De Villefort misses its target.
Kaz lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
De Villefort checks a leg kick.

A jab from Kaz finds it's way through De Villefort's defenses.

It looks like Max Kaz has been cut.
Kaz has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
De Villefort throws a front kick that sends Kaz stumbling back into the cage.

De Villefort is looking to counter with a body kick.
De Villefort looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
De Villefort throws a series of punches but Kaz avoids them all with ease.
Kaz lands with a good body shot.

Max Kaz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kaz throws a shot from downtown. De Villefort moves away and avoids it.
De Villefort went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
De Villefort with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
This has been an exciting period of action!

and De Villefort counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Kaz lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Kaz misses with a hook
enabling De Villefort to counter with a crisp jab.
De Villefort connects with a jab.

De Villefort moves forwards but Kaz connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Kaz thows a leg kick but De Villefort checks it
and De Villefort counters with a crisp right hand that drops Kaz! De Villefort lets Kaz back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Kaz is rocked!
Kaz leaves his chin hanging out and De Villefort seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Kaz crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Noirtier De Villefort!
Our winner, Noirtier De Villefort, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
