Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Derp Wyatt!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Bruno Lombardi and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leonardo buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Leonardo bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Wyatt misses with a double jab.
Leonardo tries to clinch there but Wyatt circles away.
Leonardo is looking to clinch but Wyatt is avoiding it.
Some wild striking there from Wyatt.
Leonardo is looking to counter the offense by Wyatt and move into the clinch.
Leonardo scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Wyatt scores with a punch to the head.
Leonardo lands with a good body shot.
The fight stays on the outside here - Leonardo looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Leonardo uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Wyatt.
Leonardo seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Leonardo moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Wyatt throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A looping hook to the body misses from Wyatt. Leonardo does a little dance to reset his feet.

Wyatt throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Leonardo seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Wyatt misses with a jab, cross combination.
Wyatt swings for the body but Leonardo moves out of range.
Derp Wyatt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Leonardo dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Wyatt. That did some damage!
Leonardo slips a jab and a cross from Wyatt.
Leonardo fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Wyatt.
Wyatt swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Wyatt looks to land a combination but Leonardo avoids it well.
Leonardo tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Wyatt manages to circle out of the way.
Wyatt lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Leonardo circles away quickly and effectively.
Wyatt uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Leonardo.
Wyatt swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Leonardo tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Wyatt manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Wyatt ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Leonardo moves away.
Wyatt throws a body punch but Leonardo moves out of range.

Leonardo is looking to counter the offense by Wyatt and move into the clinch.

Leonardo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Wyatt.
Wyatt missing with a left hand there. Leonardo was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
A jab lands there for Wyatt.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Leonardo has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
It looks like Ernesto Leonardo has been cut.
Leonardo clinches up against the cage.
Wyatt tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Leonardo gets control of Wyatt's arms and successfully pulls guard. Leonardo will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Wyatt stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Leonardo throws up his legs and catches Wyatt in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Wyatt tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Leonardo! That came out of nowhere!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Ernesto Leonardo!

Post fight, an emotional Ernesto Leonardo said 'Tough luck Derp. Any other time you could have won this tourny. It's just bad luck that you came across the legend that is "The Subber with the Blubber". I'm sure you'll go pro and do well. Maybe a rematch one day?'.
The defeated Derp Wyatt had this to say: 'Well done Ernesto and Timmy!. The better fighter won on the day. Cheers to Lutte for the tourney. I will be back in the cage in no time to fuck up some more fuckers.'.
