Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Doyle Brunson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Sampo Metso! The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Santiago Holmes and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Metso slips under a jab from Brunson. Metso looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

It looks like Sampo Metso has been cut. Brunson checks a low kick from Metso. Brunson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Metso was well out of range. Poor timing from Brunson. Metso wants to slow Brunson down by chopping away at his legs. Brunson blocks a head kick by Metso.
Brunson tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Metso manages to circle out of the way. Brunson is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Metso cracks the inside of Brunson's front leg. Metso looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Metso tries a low kick but Brunson avoids it. Brunson is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Metso. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brunson lands a slapping body shot.
Brunson lands a jab to Metso's midsection. Metso dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Brunson. That did some damage! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Brunson misses the shot to the body. A low kick from Metso is predictable there and Brunson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Brunson moves into range and clinches up with Metso.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brunson lands a hook to the side of the head. Brunson creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Metso's defenses. Metso tries to circle away but Brunson has him pinned against the cage. Metso takes an elbow to the temple.
That has opened up Sampo Metso's cut even more. Brunson blocks the elbow strike.
Metso pushes off an throws an elbow but Brunson leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Metso misses with an elbow over the top. Metso misses with an elbow over the top. Metso blocks an elbow strike from Brunson.
A short body shot lands from Brunson as the two fighters clinch.
Metso just leaning against Brunson, taking a breather. Metso is trying to force a seperation but Brunson has the dominant position. Brunson lands a right hand. Metso tries to work over Brunson's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Metso throws an elbow but it's blocked.
With the fighters up against the cage, Metso throws an elbow but misses. Brunson lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
The cut above Sampo Metso's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Brunson lands an elbow that stopped Metso in his tracks for a moment. Metso pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Brunson lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Sampo Metso's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Sampo Metso's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Doyle Brunson! After the fight, Doyle Brunson was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
