Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Milford Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricky Perrie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ricky Perrie has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Black shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Perrie really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Black. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Black seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Perrie does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Perrie misses with a takedown

and Black counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Perrie's guard now.
Black postures up.

Black drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Perrie dives on top into guard.
Black is breathing heavily.
Perrie stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Black swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Black wants to stand and escape but Perrie is having none of it.
Black keeping moving, preventing Perrie from controlling successfully.
Perrie must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Black manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Perrie manages to get himself to full guard.

Black is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Perrie is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Perrie has escaped and now he's on top!

Perrie trying to control the position from guard on top but Black is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Perrie controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Perrie wants to control from the top but Black keeps moving.
Perrie might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Black kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Black tries to strike from the bottom.

Black has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Perrie can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Perrie avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

That's time! Black's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Perrie closes the distance but Black moves to the side

and Black counters with a shoot takedown. Perrie fights it but they end up in guard.
Black forces his way into half guard.
Black is trying to control the action in half guard but Perrie is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Black is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Perrie as he works his way to full guard.

Black gets a takedown into half guard.
Black looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Milford Black overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Black working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Perrie's thigh. Perrie counters though and makes it back to full guard.
Black stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Perrie swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Black is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Black misses with a head shot. Perrie uses the momentum to regain guard.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Perrie is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Black connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Perrie some visible discomfort.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Perrie tries to get to full guard but Black has control of the leg.

Black seems to be working for a kimura but Perrie defends the submission attempt.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Perrie moves into the clinch.
Perrie lands an elbow that stopped Black in his tracks for a moment.
Perrie prevents Black from breaking the clinch.
Perrie tries to pull guard but Black won't allow it.
Perrie lands an elbow inside that Black shrugs off.
Perrie keeps control of Black as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Black gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Perrie keeping moving, preventing Black from controlling successfully.

Perrie bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Black's guard.

Black had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Perrie is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Black Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Perrie's back instead.

Black is cranking Perrie's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Perrie! He's tightened the choke and Perrie is tapping out!
