Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Charles RIck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wilson Tony (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Charles RIck has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Charles RIck seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Charles RIck! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 1, fighting out of New York, Wilson Tony! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Russell Pearce and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! RIck slips a jab from Tony. RIck feinted with a counter takedown. Tony scores with the left hand. RIck knows he should have avoided that one. Tony swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by RIck. RIck closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Tony to the mat! Tony manages to get full guard. RIck sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Tony's guard. Tony has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. RIck is working away from the top position though. RIck sitting and controlling from the half guard. RIck is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. RIck is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Tony sees it coming and defends easily. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tony wants to control but RIck is keeping busy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tony wants to control but RIck passes into side.
RIck is looking to take a break and control but Tony is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. RIck looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. RIck working away. RIck tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. RIck wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Tony, who protects the arm well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. RIck working away. Tony tries to buck RIck off but RIck is having none of it. RIck trying to control the action but Tony is working from the bottom. Tony tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but RIck wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. RIck gets a takedown into half guard. RIck is looking for a kimura but Tony is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for RIck to get the leverage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. RIck is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Tony regains full guard. Nicely done. RIck stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tony swivels though and keeps the full guard. RIck avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Tony is trying to control the position but RIck postures up. RIck trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. RIck trying to control the position from guard on top but Tony is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Tony is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! RIck has his hands clasped together but Tony extends and breaks RIck's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Tony.
