Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Stewart Dunkirk and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spunkly throws a right and a left that both miss.
Spunkly drops Busioni with a left right combo! Spunkly follows him down to the ground into side control.
It looks like Gary Busioni has been cut.
Spunkly is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Busioni is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Spunkly lands a few punches from side control.
Spunkly has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Busioni throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Spunkly slips a jab from Busioni.

Spunkly will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Busioni drops back looking for a leg! Spunkly is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Spunkly manages to kick Busioni off! Busioni jumps back into Spunkly's guard.
Spunkly has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Busioni slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Spunkly sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Spunkly is looking to control Busioni's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Spunkly avoid being mounted?
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Busioni fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Spunkly fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Spunkly misses with a wild combination.
Spunkly tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Busioni was well out of range. Poor timing from Spunkly.
Tyrone Spunkly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Busioni throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Spunkly was covering up waiting for the punch and Busioni finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Busioni seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Busioni postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Busioni throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Spunkly works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Busioni decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Busioni drives through with a takedown into guard.
Spunkly utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Busioni postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Busioni missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Busioni stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Spunkly swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Busioni stays in close to Spunkly's body and controls the position.

Busioni misses with a head shot. Spunkly uses the momentum to regain guard.
Spunkly has his foot on Busioni's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Busioni works his way back into a safe position though.
Spunkly takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Spunkly is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Busioni has his hands clasped together but Spunkly extends and breaks Busioni's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Spunkly.
