Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Fistface (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brock Lesner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lesner is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by down with the sickness. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Matt Fistface! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Brock Lesner! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Chris Dean and Ron Honeybunn.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lesner connects with a single shot there.
It looks like Matt Fistface has been cut. Lesner throws a front kick aimed at Fistface's knee but Fistface avoids it well. Fistface jabbing away but nothing is landing. Lesner replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Fistface blocks it well. Lesner walks into a left hand.
It looks like Brock Lesner has been cut. Lesner throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
No joy there for Fistface, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Fistface scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Fistface lands with a hook. Lesner tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. We've been told by Fistface's head coaches at Madz **21 Elite coaches** that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Nice combo by Fistface! Oh, that's hurt him - Lesner falls to the canvas and Fistface follows him into side control.
Lesner is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Lesner is looking to reverse the position. Lesner sneaks out the side door and pushes Fistface away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Lesner throws a body shot but no joy. Fistface lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Fistface throws a right and a left that Lesner avoids nicely. As Fistface backs off Lesner throws a huge counter combo but Fistface manages to avoid it all. Fistface throws a half hearted mid kick. Fistface will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fistface misses with a takedown attempt and Lesner counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Fistface can't keep his opponent in guard - Lesner advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Fistface tries to kick Lesner off but Lesner keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Lesner is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Fistface reverses the position - he's now on top in Lesner's guard. Lesner had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Fistface defends it easily. Fistface sitting in guard here, content to control. Lesner is trying to keep Fistface in close.
Fistface has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Fistface controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Lesner is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Fistface defends well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fistface stands up from guard. Let's bang! Fistface walks into a stiff left hand from Lesner. Lesner ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Lesner takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. A telegraphed right hand from Fistface misses the target. Lesner tries to bum rush Fistface with a series of wild strikes but Fistface uses good footwork to avoid the assault. That has opened up Brock Lesner's cut even more. This has been an exciting period of action! Fistface throws a left that rocks Lesner and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Fistface dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Lesner regain composure!
Lesner manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Lesner wants to get back to full guard. Fistface knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lesner on the ground. Fistface with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Lesner looking for submissions off his back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fistface tries to stand but can't do so whilst Lesner controls his leg. Lesner looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Fistface with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Lesner trying to control but Fistface postures up.
Fistface wants to stand but Lesner has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Fistface seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lesner does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Lesner trying to hold on to Fistface's head to control him but Fistface postures up.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Lesner actively working from the bottom here. Fistface seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Lesner wants to get back to full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fistface looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Lesner with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Fistface sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Lesner defending well though. Fistface is trying to control the action in half guard but Lesner is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Lesner looks to land a combination but Fistface avoids it well. Lesner takes a jab right on the kisser.
Fistface cracks Lesner with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
The cut above Brock Lesner's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Lesner dodges the punch combination from Fistface.
Fistface throws a lazy right hand but Lesner sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Matt Fistface dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Lesner scores with the left hand. Fistface knows he should have avoided that one. A combination from Fistface does no damage. Lesner misses with the combination.
Oooh a lovely combination from Fistface sends Lesner down but not out. Fistface dives into side control looking to finish. Lesner is still in real trouble! Can Fistface finish him? Lesner tries to get back to half guard but can't. Lesner seems to have recovered his senses. Fistface postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Fistface wants to stand but Lesner has his arm trapped. Lesner throws Fistface to one side and escapes! Fistface is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. This has been an exciting period of action! Fistface fakes the body blow, causing Lesner to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Lesner goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
