Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tony Abbot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Kincaid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kincaid has chosen Converge - as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 31 - 28 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Billy Kincaid!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shigeki Fujiwara and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abbot throws a jab but it's blocked by Kincaid.
Kincaid throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Kincaid lands with a right hand.


It looks like Tony Abbot has been cut.
Abbot slips a straight right by Kincaid.
Kincaid will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Kincaid misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Kincaid scores with the left hand. Abbot knows he should have avoided that one.
Kincaid pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Kincaid rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Abbot moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Abbot takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Abbot swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Abbot swings and misses with a hook to the body.

A nice inside leg kick there by Kincaid. That's going to slow Abbot down.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A left and a right from Kincaid both land. Nice combination.

Abbot displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kincaid throws out the jab.

Kincaid closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Abbot's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kincaid with a flurry of punches that miss.
Kincaid's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Abbot keeping moving, preventing Kincaid from controlling successfully.
Kincaid throws an elbow that misses. Abbot uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Kincaid's guard. Nice move by Abbot!

Kincaid is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Abbot not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Abbot has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Kincaid is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Abbot gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Kincaid to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Kincaid wants to control from the top but Abbot keeps moving.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Kincaid trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Kincaid must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Kincaid is working Abbot over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Abbot has momentary wrist control but Kincaid slips an elbow through the middle.
Abbot seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Kincaid looking to improve position, pressing down on Abbot's thigh with his hand. Abbot seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is Kincaid paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! Kincaid's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Abbot picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
