Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tyler McClain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mubaracus Carwin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McClain comes to the ring accompanied by New Found Glory - Ready and Willing. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tyler McClain! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mubaracus Carwin! The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carwin takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. McClain throws a right hand that Carwin ducks under and follows up with a left that Carwin also avoids with ease. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by McClain!
McClain throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Mubaracus Carwin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A telegraphed right hand from McClain misses the target. Carwin digs a good body shot into McClain's ribs. Carwin lands with a hook. McClain tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Carwin throws a right hand that McClain ducks under and follows up with a left that McClain also avoids with ease. McClain appears to be looking for a big counter. Carwin throws an ugly left hook that misses
and McClain counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Carwin keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
McClain cracks Carwin with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. We've been hearing reports that McClain has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Carwin throws a body punch but McClain moves out of range. Carwin tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but McClain was well out of range. Poor timing from Carwin. Carwin bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Carwin swinging wildly here.
McClain throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Carwin counters with a stiff right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carwin moves into range and clinches up with McClain. Carwin lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of McClain backwards. Carwin lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Carwin misses with the head strike.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Carwin. McClain breaks the clinch.
McClain misses with a series of wild punches.
McClain throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Carwin counters with a nice uppercut. Carwin throws out a powerful jab. McClain takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. McClain will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
It seemed like Carwin was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Carwin slips a jab and a cross from McClain.
Carwin has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Carwin gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. A short right from Carwin. Carwin has McClain pressed up against the ropes. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Carwin pulls back from the ropes and twists to the side, sending McClain tumbling to the mat - Carwin dives into McClain's guard. Carwin working some strikes from top position. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Carwin accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. McClain bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Carwin's guard. McClain postures up.
McClain stops Carwin from standing up. McClain controlling from the top position. Carwin can't keep his opponent in guard - McClain advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McClain is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Carwin has managed to free his arm - good work. Carwin is trying to control McClain's posture. McClain takes advantage of the lull and advances to side control. He also appears to have an arm triangle here! Uh oh, big trouble for Carwin! McClain is rotating here... this could be the end... Carwin is out! McClain has ended this one emphatically! Great submission!
