Ioannidis kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is If I Can't - 50 Cent. This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ioannidis closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Heitannan to the mat! Heitannan manages to get full guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Heitannan can do anything to dispel that myth.

Heitannan throws a head kick but Ioannidis moves out of range.

Heitannan ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ioannidis moves away.
Heitannan dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Ioannidis ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Ioannidis shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Ioannidis showed some decent athleticism there.
