Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eric Brooks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bessarion Alexius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alexius has chosen A Country Boy Can Survive as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Johanna Lukiainen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alexius keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Brooks lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Alexius bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Alexius has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

That was a close round but I would say that Eric Brooks will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Alexius looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Brooks with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
