The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, William Gold and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shore closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Filips looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Shore tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Shore has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Shore decides to stand back up.
Shore scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Filips is rocked!
Shore lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Oh Filips is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Shore has knee on belly and moves into mount.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Shore cracks Filips with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rick Shore!
After winning the bout, Rick Shore thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
