Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alan Sansing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Ryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ryan comes into a darkened arena with his song building. I'd Love to Knock the Hell out of You by Hank Williams, Jr kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! On his way into the cage it seems that Alan Sansing has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Alan Sansing seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Alan Sansing! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
30 - 20 - 2, fighting out of London, Daniel Ryan! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Gwen Towbar and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ryan shoots in for a takedown but Sansing shows good takedown defense. Sansing jabs Ryan to the body, keeping him at a distance. Sansing throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Alan Sansing seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sansing has his takedown stuffed and Ryan counters with a shoot takedown. Sansing fights it but they end up in guard. Sansing looking for a sweep. Not yet Sansing, not yet. Ryan lands a couple of elbows. Ryan wants to control from the top but Sansing keeps moving. Ryan throws an elbow that misses. Sansing uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Ryan's guard. Nice move by Sansing! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sansing passes into half guard. Sansing controlling the action here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ryan tries to roll over but Sansing keeps him under control. Sansing frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Ryan is squirming around, avoiding Sansing's attempts to control the action. Ryan is looking to improve his position but Sansing isn't that keen on the idea. Sansing looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Sansing wants to control the pace but Ryan is squirming around nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Sansing lands a big elbow. Ryan regains half guard. Ryan is trying to get back to full guard. Ryan is in trouble now - Sansing has advanced to mount! Sansing avoids the attempt from Ryan to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sansing takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Poor strikes thrown by Sansing there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Ryan is looking to get to half guard. Ryan tries to hold on but Sansing pushes him away. Sansing jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Ryan manages to avoid the submission attempt. Sansing is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Ryan has escaped the position, nice work there.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Sansing keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Sansing did well to prevent Ryan getting side control. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Sansing is looking to regain full guard. That was a close round but I would say that Alan Sansing will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Sansing looking to pass the guard. Ryan is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Sansing is aware though and is defending well. Ryan escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Sansing gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Sansing preventing the sweep. Ryan is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Sansing misses with an uppercut. Ryan saw that one coming. Nice takedown defense from Ryan. No joy for Sansing on that attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alan Sansing dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Ryan misses with a takedown attempt - Sansing sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Sansing feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Ryan is fighting to maintain full guard but Sansing has managed to sneak the leg through. Sansing wants to pass to mount but Ryan is defending the position. Ryan is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Sansing pulls his head out easily.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Sansing tests Ryan's chin there with a solid looking shot. Ryan shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Sansing's guard. Alan Sansing is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Ryan is trying to maintain the position but Sansing is very close to passing his half guard. Daniel Ryan has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Sansing is keen to just control but Ryan is a slippery customer. Ryan is concentrating on defense, preventing Sansing from advancing position.

Ryan fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Alan Sansing has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daniel Ryan. No joy there for Ryan, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Ryan shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sansing but Sansing pushes him off and we're back to square one. Ryan takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Ryan drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Sansing managing to control the position. Sansing keeping moving, preventing Ryan from controlling successfully. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Sansing manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Ryan manages to get himself to full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Alan Sansing. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Sansing, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Alan Sansing! After the fight, Alan Sansing was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
