Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yuya Inoue (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charles Lundgren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yuya Inoue could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Charles Lundgren's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 29 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yuya Inoue!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Charles Lundgren!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Jeff Smith and Colin Fray.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Inoue tries to clinch there but Lundgren circles away.

Lundgren has managed to clinch.
Inoue avoiding damage as Lundgren throws knees to the body.

Inoue works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Inoue postures up.
Inoue will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Lundgren is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Inoue is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Lundgren throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Lundgren throws a jab but it's blocked by Inoue.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lundgren connects with a body shot.
Lundgren throws a right and a left that both miss.
Charles Lundgren seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lundgren pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Charles Lundgren is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Inoue tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lundgren swats him away and circles back towards the center.
As Inoue backs off Lundgren throws a huge counter combo but Inoue manages to avoid it all.
Nice takedown defense from Lundgren. No joy for Inoue on that attempt.
Inoue is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Inoue changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Inoue uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lundgren.
Inoue throws a head kick but Lundgren moves out of range.
Lundgren throws a series of punches but Inoue avoids them all with ease.

Inoue has closed the distance and engaged Lundgren in a clinch.

Lundgren turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Lundgren manages to end up in side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Lundgren decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

and Inoue counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Lundgren pushes Inoue off but Inoue dives into side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Charles Lundgren dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Inoue darts in looking for a takedown but Lundgren gets double underhooks and turns Inoue into the cage.
Lundgren tries a head kick but it misses.
Inoue shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lundgren but Lundgren pushes him off and we're back to square one.

and Inoue counters with a single leg into guard. Lundgren didn't expect that.

Lundgren has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Inoue off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Lundgren throws a sloppy head kick and Inoue moves out of range easily.

Inoue fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Lundgren sprawls well initially but Inoue persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Inoue looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Lundgren has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Inoue is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Inoue quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Lundgren has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Inoue celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
