Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Itshak Rabinovitch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thiago Macari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thiago Macari told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Itshak Rabinovitch! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Thiago Macari! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Ackerman and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Macari with a poor takedown and Rabinovitch counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Rabinovitch. Rabinovitch with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
It looks like Thiago Macari has been cut. Rabinovitch lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Rabinovitch escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Rabinovitch misses with a few strikes there.
Rabinovitch fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Macari misses with a head kick.
Macari misses with a combination
and Rabinovitch counters by clinching up. Rabinovitch pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Rabinovitch avoids the head kick by Macari.
Macari closes this distance looking for a takedown but Rabinovitch circles away. As Macari looks to move away, Rabinovitch throws a big counter combo bu Macari just gets out of the way. Macari fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Rabinovitch was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Itshak Rabinovitch has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thiago Macari.
That's one minute gone in the round. Macari fails with a takedown attempt. An attempted straight right counter from Rabinovitch misses the target. Rabinovitch's corner calls for a 1-2. Rabinovitch obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Rabinovitch listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Thiago Macari seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Macari dives in and grabs Rabinovitch's left leg, looking for a takedown. Rabinovitch pushes down on Macari's head and hops out. Rabinovitch swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Macari looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Rabinovitch tries to counter by clinching up but Macari breaks away and moves out of range. Rabinovitch connects with a jab.
That has opened up Thiago Macari's cut even more. Rabinovitch has been working on his boxing with his coaches at LOD: Ground Zero in the buildup to the fight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rabinovitch throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Macari gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Rabinovitch drops Macari with a huge uppercut! Macari drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Rabinovitch is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Itshak Rabinovitch!
