Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Sano and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Biernat as he jumps to the side.
Biernat has closed the distance and engaged Smith in a clinch.
Biernat landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Biernat jumps guard and drags Smith to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Biernat managing to control the position.
Smith wants to stand but Biernat is controlling his posture from full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Biernat has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Smith has passed into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round.
You can see the frustration on Biernat's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Smith just content to control the position.
Biernat is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Smith takes a little break here. Biernat wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Biernat tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Smith wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Biernat looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Smith!
