Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joy James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Petey Pablo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pablo is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Raise up. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Dirk Anderson and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pablo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Pablo walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
James misses with a hook.
James misses the jab.
Pablo follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
James takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Pablo slips a straight right by James.
Pablo tries a quick counter leg kick but James is wise to it.
A looping hook to the body misses from James. Pablo does a little dance to reset his feet.

Pablo turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
James definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Good leg kick by Pablo there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Pablo has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts James, as that shot connected.

Pablo looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.
James lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Pablo circles away quickly and effectively.
Pablo lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
James throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Some bone on bone action there as James checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

James takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
James clobbers Pablo with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
James is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Pablo.

James tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pablo swats him away and circles back towards the center.
James rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pablo moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pablo has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from James finds it's way round the side to connect with Pablo's head.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Joy James will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
James misses with a hook. Pablo ducked under it nicely.

Pablo lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Pablo throws a lazy right hand but James sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Pablo throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Pablo lands a big head kick that sends James tumbling to the mat! Pablo takes a step backwards and waves James back to his feet - he wants the finish!
James is rocked!
James drops his hands momentarily and Pablo needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips James just on the top of the head. James drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in James - he's done!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Petey Pablo!
An out of breath Petey Pablo thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
