Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Roberto Boucher! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Janghong Pasty! The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Sandra Marshall and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pasty throws an ugly left hook that misses
enabling Boucher to counter with a crisp jab. Pasty missing with a left hand there. Boucher was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Boucher was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Boucher bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Pasty swings widly with a right hand
and Boucher connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Pasty throws a right hand that misses
and Boucher cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Boucher looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Boucher swats away the attempt to clinch by Pasty. Boucher was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. The fighters circling - Pasty throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Boucher was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Pasty throws a sloppy body shot
and Pasty takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pasty lands with a hook. Boucher tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

and Boucher cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Boucher on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pasty uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Boucher. Pasty ducks under a wild hook from Boucher. Pasty misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Boucher.
Pasty throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Boucher swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Pasty throws a jab when Boucher was well out of range. Boucher has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Pasty finds it's way round the side to connect with Boucher's head. Pasty throws a poor cross that misses
and Boucher counters with a straight right hand. Pasty swings for the body but Boucher moves out of range.
Boucher is looking to counter punch. Pasty's coach down at The Hut - $50 was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Pasty's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Pasty lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Boucher at a distance.

letting Boucher counter with a right hand. Boucher slips under a jab from Pasty. Boucher moves out of range of the strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pasty throws a predictable looking body shot
and Boucher counters with a straight right hand. Pasty misses with a left hand and Boucher counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Pasty is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Pasty misses with a left hand and Boucher counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Roberto Boucher! A less than humble Roberto Boucher misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
