Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Andy Finch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Beau Remington (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Remington has chosen Lily Was Here as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Beau Remington is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Andy Finch! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Beau Remington! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Sam Margolis and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A solid leg kick lands there for Finch.
Finch bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Finch drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Finch is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Remington is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Remington tries to bench press Finch off him but Finch keeps the position. Finch stands up. Remington fails with a takedown attempt. Finch bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Remington is looking to reverse the position. I wouldn't like to be where Remington is right now. Finch trying to control the action but Remington is working from the bottom. Remington is looking to reverse the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Remington is holding Finch down, trying to stall. Remington regains half guard. Remington keeping control of the position. Finch prevents Remington from improving his position.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Finch blocks a head kick by Remington.
Horrible takedown attempt by Remington or perhaps it was just good defense by Finch, which made it look bad. Finch shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Remington is trying to get back to full guard. Finch is looking to take a break and control but Remington is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Remington gets full guard. Finch trying to control but Remington is working from the bottom. Remington bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Finch's guard. Finch can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Remington controls the pace. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Remington trying to control the position from guard on top but Finch is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Finch has Remington up against the cage in a clinch.
Finch is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Remington is defending well for now. Finch lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Finch throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Remington tries to roll over but Finch keeps him under control. Remington keeping hold of Finch's head, controlling as best he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Remington regains full guard. Nicely done. Remington is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Remington is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Remington in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Finch tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Remington!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Beau Remington! After the fight, Beau Remington was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
