Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ronny Fosse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bratt Nardello (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bratt Nardello is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ronny Fosse! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Bratt Nardello! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, William Gold and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nardello misses the jab. Nardello connects with a jab.
It looks like Ronny Fosse has been cut. Fosse shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Nardello defends it nicely. Nardello uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Fosse has time to react. Nardello throws a lazy uppercut
and Fosse counters with a nice double leg into side control. Nardello won't be happy with that. Fosse prevents Nardello from escaping the position. Nardello really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fosse. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Nardello is not content to let Fosse control the position. Fosse working the head with strikes. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fosse is looking to take a break and control but Nardello is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Nardello is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fosse is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Nardello knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Nardello takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Nardello can do anything to dispel that myth. Fosse lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Fosse scoring with punches from side control. Nardello is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Fosse is controlling him well. Fosse postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Fosse wants to control but Nardello is keeping him busy. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nardello tries to escape but Fosse is in control. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Nardello is working to avoid the ground and pound but Fosse connects with a decent elbow. Fosse is trying to get an arm triangle but Nardello is defending well. Nardello is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Fosse has just dragged him back down to the mat. Fosse wants to control but Nardello is keeping him busy. Nardello is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Nardello is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Fosse sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Nardello is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Fosse is looking to take a break and control but Nardello is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Nardello parries the strikes from Fosse easily there. Fosse is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Nardello to escape.
Nardello is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Fosse asserts his dominance and retains side control. Fosse lands a few punches from side control. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fosse is working Nardello over with some ground and pound from side control. Fosse looks up at the clock and then as Nardello takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Fosse smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Fosse lands a few punches from side control. Fosse trying to control the position but Nardello is working away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ronny Fosse dominated that round. The cut man is working on Ronny Fosse's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Nardello waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Fosse. Nardello rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fosse moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Fosse shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Nardello but Nardello pushes him off and we're back to square one. Nardello paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Nardello throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Fosse. Nardello sizes up Fosse with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Fosse shoots in and drives through. Nardello sprawls well. Fosse drives through with a takedown into guard. Fosse is working Nardello over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Fosse throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Nardello wants to stand but Fosse is controlling the position. Fosse might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Fosse postures up in Nardello's guard and throws a big left but Nardello blocks it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fosse trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Fosse cracks Nardello with a solid left hand. Fosse throws a big right hand that misses. Fosse is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Nardello can do to turn this around? Fosse postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Nardello is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Fosse is controlling him. Fosse connects with a couple of short punches. Fosse stands up over Nardello, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Nardello wants to stand up but Fosse is controlling him. Nardello manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. Nardello has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Nardello tries to break free but Fosse pushes him back against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fosse keeps control of Nardello as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Fosse tries for a takedown. No joy.

Fosse misses with a takedown attempt - Nardello sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Fosse takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Fosse fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Fosse slips a straight right by Nardello. Nardello has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Good shot there by Nardello.

Fosse shoots for a takedown but Nardello saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Nardello is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Fosse takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fosse fails to land the takedown. Nardello feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Fosse sprawling to the canvas! Fosse rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Nardello finish him?!
Fosse is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Nardello fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Nardello dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Nardello flashes Fosse a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Fosse's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Fosse crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Nardello punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Bratt Nardello!
