The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Matti Vanhoillinen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A momentary lapse in concentration from Stokes enables Ebonivic to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Stokes manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stokes trying to keep a closed guard but Ebonivic is proving a slippery customer.
Stokes has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Stokes being controlled here, momentarily.
Stokes could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Stokes is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stokes is trying to control the position but Ebonivic postures up.
Ebonivic postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Stokes preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Stokes gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Ebonivic is standing up over Stokes. Stokes looks to escape but Ebonivic dives into side control.
Ebonivic is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Stokes knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Ebonivic is chipping away with strikes.
Stokes is trying to work for a sweep but Ebonivic has mounted him!
Stokes wants to hold on but Ebonivic pushes him away.
Stokes is trying desperately to improve position.
Stokes knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ebonivic on the ground.

Ebonivic lands a big shot there that rocks Stokes but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Stokes might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Ebonivic is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Stokes won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Ebonivic off his unconscious opponent!
