Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Doe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Drago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Drago has chosen Drago as his entrance music. Joe Doe has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Joe Doe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ivan Drago!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Reed Andrews and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drago ducks right into an uppercut from Doe.
A jab from Doe does it's job there.
It looks like Ivan Drago has been cut.
Drago fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Doe scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Doe gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
It looks like Joe Doe has been cut.
Doe takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Doe closes the distance and clinches.
Doe works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Doe has Drago pressed against the cage, preventing Drago from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Drago.
Drago tries to break free but Doe pushes him back against the cage.
Drago escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Doe's corner calls for a 1-2. Doe obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Doe scores with a kick to the body.
Drago throws a jab but it's blocked by Doe.
It looked like Doe wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
We've been told by Doe's head coaches at Hey Steves Fight Shack that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
The fight stays on the outside here - Doe looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A leg kick checked by Drago.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Drago! But no joy.
Doe buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
A nice inside leg kick there by Doe. That's going to slow Drago down.
Doe misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Drago has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Doe.
Drago throws a jab when Doe was well out of range.
Doe fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Drago on the side of the head.

Doe defending well as Drago loads up on a big left hand.
Drago walks into a left hand.
Drago throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Doe feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Drago just misses with a punch to the body.
Drago lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Drago.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Doe swings for the body but Drago moves out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A nice leg kick lands there from Doe.
Doe scores with a shot to the body.
Doe feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Drago sprawling to the canvas! Drago rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Doe finish him?!
Drago is rocked!
Joe Doe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Drago takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Doe cracks Drago on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Drago falls backwards against the cage. Doe follows up with more strikes that drop Drago to his knees. Doe keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Drago! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Joe Doe!
Ivan Drago spoke after the fight, saying '"He's not human, he's like a piece of iron."'.
