And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mr Steel Penn!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Micheangelo Fripello and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice jab there from Bugaev.
David Bugaev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bugaev throws a head kick that misses
and Steel Penn counters with a nice uppercut.
Steel Penn uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bugaev.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Steel Penn! But no joy.
Bugaev misses with a left hand
and Steel Penn finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Bugaev thuds his right hand into Steel Penn's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
It looks like Mr Steel Penn has been cut.
Bugaev tries a head kick but it misses.
Steel Penn steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Bugaev.
Bugaev connects with a body shot that sends Steel Penn's belly button to the back.
Sloppy strikes from Bugaev. Those never looked like landing.
Steel Penn on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Steel Penn is rocked!
Bugaev misses with a straight right.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bugaev tries to move into range but Steel Penn moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
A looping hook to the body misses from Steel Penn. Bugaev does a little dance to reset his feet.
Bugaev throws a counter high kick but Steel Penn was just alert enough to avoid it.
Whack! Bugaev lands a heavy head kick that drops Steel Penn. The ref tackles Bugaev to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Steel Penn was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). David Bugaev!
